Our staff has years of experience and a dedicated passion to produce quality results for all who visit our office. They simply are the best in Raleigh and North Carolina. They help make us better people and dentists. They have the uncommon blend of excellent technical and administrative skills along with genuine care and concern for our patients and one another. We carry ourselves with pride in the office and community; but don’t be fooled, we also like to joke and laugh throughout the day.

Our administrative staff seeks to schedule your time efficiently and process your account accurately. Our clinical staff is committed to making you feel comfortable at all times. We want to earn your trust while delivering the best possible dentistry without exception. You have to experience our care to know what sets us apart from other dental practices. We look forward to serving you.

Craig Q. Adams, DMD

Born in Paducah, Kentucky on October 4, 1961, I became a Kentucky Wildcat fan from birth. And let me just say -- Big Blue Basketball is on the Rise! Hopefully Calipari can win and keep us between the ditches. But I digress…

My family (father and mother, Quandt and Arline, and sister Lori) moved to Cleveland, Ohio for my junior high and high school years. I played lots of basketball and football growing up and have the bad knees to prove it. I went to the southern-most public college in Ohio, Miami of Ohio, to get away from the cold blustery winters of Cleveland and graduated in 1983 with a B.A. in Chemistry and a Minor in Zoology. From there I went back to my roots to the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry and graduated 'Top Clinician' in my class of 1987. I started practicing dentistry in Raleigh in August of 1987.

The past 22 years have gone by faster than I ever imagined. The Lord has blessed me with my wife of 15 years, Amy Kate Adams (formerly Hastings). Amy loves her present job as Assistant Varsity Field Hockey Coach at Ravenscroft. She also works part-time at Scout and Molly’s, a women’s boutique clothing store.

My daughter Taylor, nicknamed “Taytee Bird,” loves art and is very talented. She attends Montessori Middle school of Raleigh and plays volleyball and soccer. My sweet little girl is growing up. I made her sign a document promising me she will always sit on my lap - forever.

My son Jack (“Jacko”) plays a lot of baseball and attends North Raleigh Christian Academy. Jack is a big kid with a strong personality. I liken him to salt and vinegar potato chips - taste great but make your lips pucker up and raise the hair on your neck sometimes. Jack has all the talents to be a great leader someday. His goal is to be a Major League Baseball player. Dentistry is his backup.

We have two labs -- Mesa is a 10 year old rescue Lab mix. She’s a grouchy old lady sometimes and sleeps 22 hours a day. Sam is a two year old black lab who we rescued from a terrible environment at Lake Gaston. Sam is the happiest human-like dog on the planet. He has a terrible Class 3 Occlusion ('Jimmy Jawed' for you country folk), smiles 24/7 and snores in our bed. He went from the henhouse to the penthouse.

I love to water ski, particularly hard Slalom skiing. My orthopedist gets regular visits. I also enjoy road biking which I started in order to get my legs in better shape and to bike with Amy. I like to golf with my buddies, busting their chops along the way, but don't get enough time for this. I love the relationships I have been able to forge with my patients over the past 22 years. Patients become like family. Laughs abound in our office with the relationships we have developed. I love laughter. I also love producing healing, beauty, comfort and trust with our patients. I realize my hands and brain are a gift from the Lord above and I do not take His Blessings for granted.

My family attends Grace Community Church. We have been on more than a dozen medical and dental mission trips. Serving the poorest with no intentions of any personal gain is very rewarding. To whom much is given - much is expected – it’s a motto I live by.

"For it is by grace that we are saved, not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." Ephesians 2:8-10

William B. Cheek, DDS

As a native of Raleigh I always knew I wanted to have my home and career here. My family has been here for four generations and we plan on staying. I went to undergrad at NCSU and was a Caldwell-Fellows Scholar. NCSU is also where my father, mother, uncle, sister, in-laws, and wife went to school, so needless to say I am a State fan. I attended UNC School of Dentistry and graduated with honors. During school I frequently visited with Dr. Adams, who was my dentist, and knew then that this is where I wanted to practice.

I married my wife Taylor, also a Raleigh native, in 2003. We met at Sanderson High school, started dating our senior year, and have been together ever since. We currently have a wonderful little boy, Jennings, and have a little girl on the way. In my spare time I enjoy hanging out with our families, going to the beach, fishing, working on projects, exercising and watching as much football as
Taylor will allow.
